This track was written for Cilla Black to sing. I wrote an lps worth of songs for the lovely Cilla and recorded them on a 4 track. I actually managed to get a copy of the cassette to Cilla herself through Dan Shea (my son) who was working in a Goth duo with a nephew of hers. What Cilla ever thought of it, I do not know as the duo split up soon after and Dan lost touch . I wrote this song as i imagined what a song written by Scott Walker might have sounded like if he had written a song for Cilla in the 60s. I still have the cassette somewhere and if I find it I might try and get it released . The Winter Tyres recorded some of the songs .which can be found on their Bandcamp. thewintertyres.bandcamp.com/music
